The person behind issue zero.
Faria Asif
I started writing at fourteen, publishing my first piece with a small independent anthology before going on to write for platforms like Falsafa Magazine, Jarida Today, and Roshni. Somewhere along the way, I noticed a bothersome gap: science writing tends to explain what is happening, but rarely why it matters to people, the psychology, the ethics, the human systems tangled up in every discovery. I started this magazine to sit in that gap.
I'm currently pursuing Pure Sciences and Psychology at A-level, with an eye toward studying Molecular and Cellular Biology in the future, and for me this mix isn't coincidental. I think the most interesting questions in science rarely stay inside one subject, and I wanted a publication that treats that seriously instead of picking a side.
I look forward to making Spircreat a welcoming destination for your creative endeavors: your writing, your art, your ideas, whatever form they take.
